INTERNSHIP WORK
According to the contract and internship outcomes I developed with my supervisor Jamie Valentine, there were three major goals to accomplish during fall 2018 for ENC 4942: 1) writing the EN1 section of the report for a topic which I had extensive knowledge on, 2) editing a bulk of the report for cohesiveness and to add student perspective, and 3) additions to my personal Sustainable Rhetoric blog.
INTERNSHIP WRITING
Fall, 2018
This semester I was fortunate enough to complete an internship with Jamie Valentine in the Facilities Department of Florida State University to edit the Sustainability STARS report for the university. Part of this internship included writing sections of the report that fell into my realm of expertise. As Eco-Reps Program Coordinator, I am very familiar with the student led sustainability efforts at the university. Therefore, I was tasked with writing the engagement section EN1 - Student Educators Program.

SUSTAINABLE RHETORIC BLOG
Fall, 2018
As part of this internship, my direct supervisor Jamie encouraged professional development experiences and work on my personal blog to explore the intersections of rhetorical analysis and sustainability. The blog's topics range from scientific literacy to reflecting on my experience attending the Conservation Leadership Initiative at the Florida Audubon Conference but always trying to tie it back to sustainability, the core tenet of this internship.

INTERNSHIP REFLECTION & EVALUATION
After completing the requirements for the internship, the following section synthesizes the experience as a whole. This includes a letter of evaluation on my internship performance from my direct supervisor Jamie Valentine and a self-evaluation of everything I did for the AASHE STARS Sustainability Report.
SELF-EVALUATION & INTERNSHIP SYNTHESIS

"The experience provided areas where I was able to demonstrate my strengths, improve upon my weaknesses, and ultimately give back to a university that has done so much for me and my own personal/professional development."
This reflection also includes my word count which I was surprised that I reached 14,150 combined edited and written words in only a single semester!
